Leisure or livelihood: Team

Otieyala Mtema is a social artist based at Zaluso Arts in Malawi. He holds a BA in Social Sciences from Chancellor College, University of Malawi and has research interests in arts-based approaches to promoting health and gambling in Malawi. 

Otiyela is a member of the co-ordinating team at Zaluso Arts for the British Academy funded Leisure or Livelihoods project. He has also co-led the development of the Counterverts action, which he presented on at the Inaugural Conference. Watch his presentation here.
