Junious Sichali

Junious is a Social Scientist at Malawian Epidemiology and Intervention Research Unit (MEIRU). He is the lead researcher on the British Academy funded study of youth perspectives on gambling with special focus on the gambling industry in Malawi and Ghana. He is leading a review of the gambling policy landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa and presented preliminary finding at the Inaugural Conference, which you can watch here.

His passion has always been working for equity in health service delivery and making sure that the most vulnerable groups have access to health care and other necessities in life. With an impeccable track record of well-honed communication skills, Junious cultivates relationships with stakeholders and motivate colleagues to implement complex solutions to deliver objectives effectively.
